The Odysea is melin's trucker inspired shape, and it splits the difference nicely: a taller looking crown with a modified point on the front panels, but it wears shallower than it looks, so it does not swallow your head. Curved visor, structured build, snapback closure. Underneath it is the full HYDRO package, with hydrophobic crown panels that bead water away instead of absorbing it, a buoyant visor core so the hat floats, a moisture wicking lining, and an antimicrobial sweatband. Seven colorways in Small, Classic, and XL.
When to wear this:
- Lake weekends, boat days, and paddle mornings
- Early tee times and range sessions after work
- Camping trips and weekends where the forecast is a guess
- Weekend errands when you still want to look like you tried
- Long drives and travel days
How to style:
- Curve the brim slightly if you want it to read more broken in
- Black, Navy, and Heather Grey are the ones you will reach for on autopilot
- Khaki and White work with shorts and a linen button up for warm weather

I needed a hat to wear when playing pickleball. I sweat a ton, so I needed a hat that could repel sweat, but one that also looked good. I did a ton of research and found this particular Melin model was the best overall. It’s a bit pricier, but it lasts a whole lot longer than the cheaper carieties, it feels great, and I get tons of complements.
