Coronado Scout Thermal
30 DAY RETURNS - EXCLUDES FINAL SALE
STORE PICKUP AVAILABLE
DESCRIPTION
This is the cold weather one, and it is one of the nicest hats melin makes. The Scout THERMAL is engineered with Climate Adapt Technology, meaning the fibers in the crown contract or expand with your body temperature, so you stay warm without cooking. The exterior Merino wool resists soaking up rain and snowmelt, and it is finished with a hand oiled Nappa leather visor and strapback, which is what makes it feel like a real object rather than a promotional cap. Built on the Coronado shape, so it sits shallow and relaxed. Black, in S, Classic, and XL.
When to wear this:
- Cold mornings when you are already reaching for a jacket
- Winter rounds and cold weather range sessions
- Ski trips, snow days, and mountain weekends
- Fall and winter tailgates and firepit nights
- A gift for the guy who already has every summer hat
How to style:
- The leather trim pulls this dressier than a normal ball cap, so it holds up next to a wool coat
- Black goes with everything, so lean into charcoal, navy, and camel around it
- Note the leather and wool need spot cleaning, not a wash. Treat it like a good jacket
