Low rise has a reputation, and this is the pair that argues with it. The front rise measures 8 1/2 inches, which is low without being the extreme version of low, and the denim has real stretch in it, so you can sit through a full workday and dinner after without unbuttoning anything. The 32 inch inseam is cut long on purpose so the flare falls clean over a heel or a chunky boot. If you are on the shorter side, plan on a hem.
