A sleeveless maxi that reads dressy without asking much of you. It is cut close through the body with a mock neck and a hem that flares below the knee, so it actually moves when you walk. The knit has a fine crinkle texture and a little stretch, which is what keeps a fitted maxi from looking stiff, and the allover check does the decorating for you. Model is 5'9" and wears a small.
When to wear this:
- Fall weddings and rehearsal dinners
- Date night when jeans feel like giving up
- Holiday parties and Thanksgiving
- Weekends away, since it rolls up small
- Wine tasting and gallery nights where you are on your feet a while
How to style:
- A cropped denim or moto jacket keeps it from feeling formal
