The Cross Check is the shirt for nights when a tee is not enough but you are not putting on a blazer either. Travis Mathew's TechWoven fabric keeps it light and easy to move in, and the fine tonal check adds texture up close while still reading as a solid from across the room. Long sleeves, a patch chest pocket, and a curved hem that looks right tucked in or left out.

When to wear this:

  • Dinner reservations and date nights
  • Office days with a client meeting on the calendar
  • Rehearsal dinners and wedding weekends
  • Travel days when one shirt has to cover the flight and the dinner after
  • Cool evenings out with the sleeves rolled

How to style:

  • Black over dark denim with white leather sneakers, sleeves pushed up
  • White with chinos or gray trousers for anything that calls for a collar
  • Layer either color under a quarter zip when the temperature drops
  • Leave it open over a plain tee for the weekend version
