There is cushioning under the whole base of the foot, a wide top band that keeps the sock from sliding down into your boot, and moisture-wicking fibers so your feet stay dry through the afternoon. The toe closure is seamless, which is the difference between a sock you forget about and one you keep adjusting. Made in the USA.
