Merino wool that does not itch, which is the whole reason to reach for a wool sock over a cotton one. It is cushioned heel to toe at a medium thickness, so it is warm without being the kind of sock that only fits in one pair of boots. Wool moves moisture, so the same pair handles a cold start and a warmer afternoon. Made in the USA with imported materials.
